About Me

I like living a simple life

I work a lot because I think that’s the only way you accomplish your goals..

I love pearls and have way, waaaay too many..

I think we should be thankful for the things we have.

When meeting people I am terribly shy…

I don’t step on bugs…

I think I can cook.

I like giving compliments to strangers.

I am from Costa Rica but I love to travel and my heart is stuck in Guatemala.
I own more paisley fabrics than anyone I know …

I also have longer hair than anyone I know..

I don’t hide anything under my pillows..but i do sleep with 600 of them

Borges,Pizarnik,Girondo and Anais Nin …

Very old music

I have no idea where I’ll be in 5 years.

I have faith in many things and I believe in signs.

And name is Natalia and I make jewelry.

  2. Thanks for visiting my site – your blog reminds me of my own. It does have a bit of a running theme, but it more often than not just random.

  3. Nice intro. You are pretty to boot.

Anyways, am half a world away. Was walking through the blog jungle and stumbled across yours.

Nice. Keep it going. You are your dream!

    Applies to everyone I suppose.

Cheers Natalia. It was a pleasure reading what you have written.

This line in particular is to my liking:
“I don’t hide anything under my pillows..but i do sleep with 600 of them”

Can’t find the pictures of photo book you made for George, but these are my impressions about it.
Beautifully crafted collage that reveals wonderfully, poetic sensibilities to Time and Place. Feminine (angelic boy with superimposed wings, beads) and yet masculine (wood, leather, bleak terrain) The choice of fading daguerreotype, warm browns and grainy ochre mediums lend themselves perfectly to the thematic notion of transient time (clock with wings) As poet Delmore Schwartz said, “Time is the fire which consumes us. The use of the spiraling labyrinth on the cover, and its recurrence along the borders, reinforces the dizzying feeling of being caught up in a vortex of fleeting Time. The leaping girl with the parachute-like sheets is pure genius, and was totally unexpected. The image of what looks like maybe a dog in the lower right hand remains enigmatic and adds to the mysterious nature of the whole composition. And the UFO (unidentified flying object, star-like symbol) in the sky between the two old buildings is tour de force, cherry on top of the sundae. Anyway, fabulous composition. Molto gracie, muchisimas gracias for sharing your masterpiece.

    Soñaré con el nácar virginal de tu frente;
    soñaré con tus ojos de esmeralda de mar;
    soñaré con tus labios desesperadamente;
    esas frases que nadie como yo te dirá;

Recuerdos, Dan.

Checked out your blog for the first time this afternoon and have spent the last couple of hours reading (when i SHOULD have been working!). i love your style, and your photos are great. cheers!
    acidtrix~

    • Ahhhh you are great! I was looking at your blog and you ask me how I do so much? I do one thing and one thing only all day all the time, but seeing your site your paintings are as good as the jewelry and the mix media is just awesome

Oh and I do that all the time at the end of the day I do some reading I stay reading blogs next thing I see is 1am and should be sleeping!

I’m very happy you found me, I’m following your blog now!

      • hehe i think there is an expression that applies to people like me: Jack of all trades and master of none ;) Every time you post something new I sit there and stare at it and try to figure out how you managed it. I think I really must look into some proper classes because I’m just guessing at what I’m doing! I’d love to be able to set stones, for instance :) one of my favorite things that you do is the detail you put on the backs of your pieces, it makes your work really special. The pendent with the balloon on the back was the first piece of yours I saw on craftster and it really stuck with me :)
I also admire your dedication to blogging. I find it really challenging to think of things to post on mine and usually end up throwing a bunch of stuff on there and then ignoring it for weeks. hehe I’ll try and be more consistent with it ;)

  19. oh man there are way too many smiley faces in that last message. eeesh. hehehe

  20. Well…a real, live pearl, I must say! ;) Keep up the work!
